HEADTEACHER'S WELCOME

MRS C YEOMAN

I am absolutely delighted to be joining St Alban’s as the new Headteacher from September. It is a true honour to lead this vibrant, inclusive, and faith-filled school community, where every individual is celebrated and nurtured.

At St Alban’s, we proudly live out our mission:
“We are proud to celebrate each individual for all that they are. We are a caring community, enjoying and excelling in the presence of God.”

This mission is at the heart of all we do. It shapes our values, our relationships, and our aspirations for every child. We are committed to providing the highest standards of academic excellence, alongside strong pastoral care, so that every pupil can grow with confidence and flourish spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually.

By the time your child leaves St Alban’s, they will be well prepared for the next stage of their educational journey -equipped not only with knowledge and skills, but with a love of learning, a compassionate heart, and the courage to follow their purpose.

We value strong partnerships with our families and wider community, knowing that together, we can provide the best possible support for each child. Parents are warmly invited to share in the life of the school - whether by celebrating achievements, attending workshops, or joining us in prayer and reflection.

Our website gives just a glimpse into life at St Alban’s. I warmly encourage you to visit us, meet our wonderful children and staff, and see our values in action.

I very much look forward to welcoming you to our school.

MISSION STATEMENT

PROUD TO CELEBRATE EACH INDIVIDUAL

“At St Alban’s we are proud to celebrate each individual for all that they are.  We are a caring community, enjoying and excelling in the presence of God”.

Our mission statement above embodies our whole school ethos.

By the time your child is ready to move on to the next phase of education we will have, together, encouraged them to have developed a sense of personal value and achievement, and a self-confidence that will carry on to adult life. We will do this through completing together ’50 things to do before leaving St Alban’s’ which goes beyond the formal National Curriculum.

As a school we promote the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.

We are very proud of our school, our pupils and their success. We are committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning – achieved through a combination of challenge, support, encouragement and praise – to ensure that all our children fulfil their potential enjoying and excelling in the presence of God.
